Yes, it’s time for the obligatory new year’s resolutions post! I’ll get straight to the point:

    • Go for a run at least once a week, more once the evenings get lighter.
    • Restart weekly yoga classes.
    • Cook a new meal from scratch every fortnight, preferably using seasonal ingredients.
    • Shop at the farmer’s market at least once a fortnight, instead of going to the supermarket.
    • Stop eating fast food/takeaways (I’ve just read Fast Food Nation so this won’t be too hard – will review in full soon).
    • Stop buying new books and use the library instead!
    • Spend at least 1 hour per week working on this blog.

It’s a mixture of restarting old habits and setting up brand new ones. Wish me luck!

I would just like to wish everyone a Happy Christmas.

Don’t forget to recycle your wrapping paper and make sure you use up all your turkey leftovers!

I am pleased to say that my blog is clearly back up and running again, hurrah!  My OH is now hosting the site for me and we have had a few kinks to work out.  Thankfully it is finally sorted out and I am now free to tinker about with my little pet project again.

I have made a few changes to the site - well, ok, actually I’ve wiped the slate clean and I’m starting again from scratch.  When I originally set up the site I wasn’t working and I was hoping it might be a way of earning some money.  However, that has been a dismal failure, it was ugly and more of a chore than anything else, plus I am now working full time so the cashflow problem is solved.  It is now well and truly relegated (or promoted?) to the status of ‘hobby’ which means I will only be writing for pleasure, and mainly for my own benefit.

So, if you have stumbled upon this little blog by accident then you are more than welcome to stay and have a nose around, but if nobody reads it, that’s fine too.  I enjoy writing so I’ll just carry on regardless.
